In the hardcover of Hidden Order, Figure 3-1b was, by some error, made identical to Figure 3-1a; it shouldn't be. I will try to get the error fixed for the paperback, but may or may not succeed. Here are the figures as I sent them to my publisher, with the addition of color to distinguish the indifference curves.
